About the Event

The event marks a significant milestone as IOTA celebrates its 30th anniversary and brings together tax administrations, international organisations, technology providers, academics, and industry professionals from across Europe and beyond.

This year’s General Assembly’s theme is: “Empowering Tax Administrations to Tackle Tax Compliance Challenges through the Use of Artificial Intelligence and Behavioural Insights.” The programme will focus on how emerging technologies and behavioural science can support tax administrations in areas such as fraud detection, risk assessment, taxpayer services, and voluntary compliance. The event will also feature an exhibition showcasing practical AI and behavioural insight applications in tax administration.
