RoyaltyRange is excited to be a part of the 29th General Assembly of IOTA. The event will take place in Baku, Azerbaijan, from June 17 to June 19, 2025. 

This year’s session will examine creative strategies and tools that tax authorities can employ to address new challenges promptly. It will emphasize the practical application of adaptive innovation and will present exemplary practices that facilitate adaptive innovation in tax administration.

RoyaltyRange is scheduled to deliver a presentation on the newest CompID AI benchmarking feature on Thursday, June 19th. In this presentation, we will share how we applied Design Thinking and user behaviour insights to develop AI-powered tools that support tax administrations in cross-checking and responding to TNMM benchmarking studies.

When a taxpayer submits a benchmarking study that raises concerns, auditors must decide whether to challenge individual comparables or prepare an alternative study. This process can be resource-intensive. The presentation will explore how AI can help auditors perform these tasks more efficiently — improving transparency, reproducibility, and audit readiness. The session will also highlight how we are working to address practical challenges faced by tax administrations, while respecting the regulatory role of tax authorities.
